Blogger Customization Tips

This site has pretty much everything you think of as far as customizing your blogger.com blog. The first thing I learned to do was add extra columns in the foot of my template and customize the font and link colors. After that, I decided to read about changing the width of my posts. This is helpful because sometimes if you just embed a picture in you post it will get cut off on some templates. Next, I plan on learning how I can further customize the elements of my blog like adding sidebars, customizing widgets and more.

Speed Up FireFox Tweeks

I just found an awesome blog about how to increase speed on your Firefox browser. I tried it and it really worked well on my dial up connection. I'd say it'd be worth a try for anyone having speed issues with Firefox.

My Free Texas State Travel Guide

I also recieved by mail my free Texas State Travel guide. It includes the State Travel Guide, Accommodations, Texas Map, and (not pictured) Texas Winter Events Calander. All the info is up to date on pretty much everything you can do in Texas. The State Travel guide includes information about all the different areas of Texas. It lists the locations of Visitor Centers, court houses, museums, recreational parks and much more. The Accommodationns booklet tells you the locations and about the facilities of popular guest ranches, cabins, hotels and more. All in all it was a nice freebie seeing as I was already thinking of going to Texas for spring break.

Make note that all the freebies Im talking about I had to sign up or through a CashCrate sponser. Recieving these kinds of things is totally optional. I picked each freebie and requested it be sent to me.

Some basic tips for completing CashCrate Offers:

Never use your "main" email account during the offers. You'll be signing up for info on products and will recieve lots of emails. Use a free email service for the emails you'll need.
Never enter any false information into the forms during offers. You can be banned from CashCrate for this and will most likely not be credited if you do not enter information that is true.
Make sure to fully complete each offer. Some offers require you to confirm an email address and you will not recieve credit if you don't.
Make sure you check out the sponsored offers involved. I've reciecved totally free stuff just for filling out a form!

CashCrate Hack

I was reading online for more methods of making money on CashCrate when I found something shocking. I've found blogs and videos that actually promote trying to scam CashCrate! It's something called a BOT that fills out the survey's for you in order to decrease the time you have to spend filling out offers. If you ask me, this is a terrible idea!! Why in the world would you want to zoom through the offers and miss out on the awesome freebies?? Another problem also comes to mind. What if the BOT accidentally enters your personal info into the forms from the sponser? LOTS of the offers are cell phone subscriptions that charge $9.99 - $17.99/month! So if the bot fills out say 10 of these offers without your knowledge, you're out around $100 or more!! I find it "safer" and more productive to just fill out the offers myself and earn cool stuff while I make some easy cash. Plus, if you try to scam CashCrate and are caught, you could be banned and lose all your earnings anyway! So what's the point of trying to hack a site that's offering you such easy money!? If you find a blog thats promoting this type of method I'd advise you not do as they recommend.

Free Rx Perscription Savings Card

Another nice freebie I recieved from completing a CashCrate offer (Again it was not sent to me by CashCrate, but a sponser involved with the offer) was my Rx Savings Card. It's good at most major pharmacies and works basically as a coupon for perscriptions, except you get to keep the card! Seeing as how I currently have no health care insurance this card was perfect for me.

I took my usual 4 block walk to the post office to check my p.o. box. To my suprise I found an envolope from Simplicity Creative Group, which contained a flyer and a 1.40mm US:9 Steel Knitting Hook! It's not really something i'll use but I've already decided on the person that will! So I got a free gift for simply filling out the offers on CashCrate! It's gotta be the best GPT site EVER!
